Coding Continued...

You know how I was describing the coding challenge in the previous post? Look down ⬇️ if you haven't... Well, turns out my groups app made the finals for New Zealand! 🇳🇿 There is an article on stuff (link HERE 😁 )Oh by the way I'm not in the photo so don't bother looking 🤣.

Stuff says:

Less Stress, helping kids aged 7-12 resolve stress and anxiety problems through games, drawing pages, inspirational quotes and a stopwatch for exercise.

That's not the whole thing but that's how it describes our app, which is accurate.

If we win the finals we go to San Francisco and go to the worlds, which is very complicated so I won't go on with it but here's the world info Here

  1. well congratulations to you all and those teachers and mentors who like you applied themselves to these projects.Your group success is due to excellent co-operation with those folk within and even outside your radars-sharing ideas and experiences is a good thing in life and you have all excelled. Well you still have some ways to go so always have a contingency plan to handle/deal with the final result of your work. Some of our academic colleagues at the university of San Fransisco and at Stanford university will probably follow your progress and like us marvel at how young minds when fed the right brain food grow amazingly well.Shall try and arrange for some chocolate fish to arrive in your classrooms for your teachers and they can distribute them!!.
Again, jolly well done and be proud of this achievement and everything that you have done and will ever do.

  2. Awesome work Alison - I wasn't 100% sure it was your group when I saw the article a day or so ago because I couldn't see you :). Really pleased to see your hard work and perseverance have lead to this great result.
